Do you spend hours researching products so you can find the best tool? Do you struggle with practical comparisons between different tool options? Do you find yourself wondering what features you actually need for a given project or task?
If you answered yes to any of those questions then you are probably a bit like me. I am a technologist during the day but love to do woodworking and other light construction projects in my free time. Whether it’s refinishing a basement, building a murphy door bookshelf, or building toy storage for my kids I’m constantly working on something and always looking for the best tools for the job.
Over the years I’ve been frustrated with the amount of time it takes to learn about different tools or projects and how much time I spend personally comparing and researching. I started woodworkology as a resource for myself and people like me to find information about tools, projects, and techniques.
